Presenter Wendy Duren is an award-winning business-to-business Transportation Demand Management (TDM) expert with more than 20 years' experience in transportation. She is an executive at Destination Sales & Marketing Group (DS&MG) and manages six TDM programs including inspiring a team of 14 sales and marketing professionals for the Arlington Transportation Partners program in Arlington, Virginia. During Wendy’s leadership, Arlington Transportation Partners has earned numerous awards for marketing, results-oriented transportation programs and outreach. Wendy is the Treasurer for the Association for Commuter Transportation.

While creating great transportation benefits is one part of a commuter benefits package, it’s just as important to promote those awesome advantages to employees. In the first half of this workshop, we’ll look at some of the best practices in communicating transportation options to new employees. In the second half participants will have the opportunity to share some of their materials and practices including what is working well and what challenges they are experiencing. Participants will have the opportunity to leave materials for Move Minneapolis to review and provide recommendations post event.
