This first in a series of workshops covers all the different options available to downtown employees including transit\, biking\, carpooling and vanpooling. We'll provide an overview of services that Move Minneapolis offers downtown employers and connect you with transportation resources\, materials and information so you can feel confident addressing commuting concerns. This workshop will focus on the options available to downtown Minneapolis employers and how to incorporate those options into policies and benefits. In the first half of this workshop\, we'll look at some of the best practices in communicating transportation options to new employees. In the second half participants will have the opportunity to share some of their materials and practices including what is working well and what challenges they are experiencing. Participants will have the opportunity to leave materials for Move Minneapolis to review and provide recommendations post event.\n\n \n\nTaking Your Commuter Benefits to the Next Level\n\nSeptember 10 | 7:30 a.m.   9:00 a.m.\n\nwww.mplschamber.com/workshop4\n\nGot the basics in place? Now take your company's transportation benefits package and your own professional development to the next level through state-of-the-art strategies. Learn about the "Best Workplaces for Commuters" national recognition program as well as the Association for Commuter Transportation's recently developed certification program. Participants will learn more about leaders in the transportation benefits field including Arlington Transportation Partners. Attendees will come away with an understanding of certification opportunities both for their company and themselves and be empowered to make their transportation benefits package a leader in downtown Minneapolis and beyond.
