MARA, NORDIC VILLAGE AND SOCCA CAFÉ UNVEIL SEASONAL OFFERINGS AT FOUR SEASONS HOTEL MINNEAPOLIS

As part of the five-month celebration of winter at Four Seasons Hotel Minneapolis, Mara, Nordic Village and Socca Café combine to present seasonal offerings, festive menus and inspired events from Halloween through New Year’s Day. All guests are invited to enjoy valet parking service, which is available on a complimentary basis until 5:00 pm and for just USD 10 per vehicle until outlets close.

New this year, Mara will host a Halloween Brunch (Oct. 29) with costumes, an abundance of desserts and trick-or-treating in the Chocolate Room; a Wild Game and Nature Dinner (Nov. 8) where staff interact with guests through surprise tableside elements; and Cultural Collisions (Nov. 3 and Dec. 1) with Houston White. In a first for Nordic Village, cabin dining will be available on Thanksgiving and Christmas – in addition to Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve – and all reservations now include special offers on an overnight hotel stay. Additionally, Socca Café will celebrate the season with festive menu items, including Apple, Pecan and Pumpkin Pies for Thanksgiving and Christmas. MERRYMAKING AT MARA:
Named Restaurant of the Year by both Minnesota Monthly and The Star Tribune, Mara transports guests to the Mediterranean through restorative dining experiences. As part of the restaurant’s commitment to approachability and inclusion, gluten-free, dairy-free and vegetarian menu items will be available.

  • Halloween Brunch (Sunday, Oct. 29, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm): No tricks here, just treats! Featured menu items include Pumpkin Pancakes, Devilled Eggs, Beet Tartine and Halloween-focused desserts. Guests in costume are invited to trick-or-treat in the Chocolate Room.   • Cultural Collision (Friday, Nov. 3, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm): A series of events created to bring people together, Cultural Collisions take place on the first Friday of the month at Mara Bar. Every gathering includes crafted cocktails and mocktails, passed hors d'oeuvres and valet parking service. USD 75 for adults. Reservations available now on Tock.
  • Wild Game and Nature Dinner (Wednesday, Nov. 8, from 5:00 to 9:45 pm): During this six-course meal, feast on Quail, Bison, Pheasant, Wild Boar and Venison Striploin and connect with the restaurant team during surprise tableside elements.   • Thanksgiving (Thursday, Nov. 23, from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm): From Oven Roasted Turkey to a beautiful dessert buffet of Pies and Fall-Inspired Sweets, holiday classics infused with Mara's flavour palette fill this Thanksgiving table.   • Brunch with Santa (Sunday, Dec. 3, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm): Guests both young and young at heart are invited to enjoy a Live Carving Station, Eggs Made-to-Order, a Mezze Selection, and breakfast classics like Pancakes and Waffles. This whimsical, Christmas-inspired event includes a dessert buffet with Bûche de Noël and Gingerbread Cookies ready for decorating. USD 80 for adults I USD 45 for children 12 and under.   • Christmas Eve (Sunday, Dec. 24, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm and 4:00 to 8:00 pm): On this holiday Sunday, the magic of the season and the Mara team converge. Brunch reveals an Interactive Carving Station, Egg Specialties, an ample selection of breakfast items and an Instagramable White Chocolate Fountain with marshmallows, macaroons, and strawberries. Dinner is complete with a Live Carving Station and a Mezze Selection with Mara spreads, like Hummus and Baba Ganoush. Additionally, crafted cocktails to include House-Made Eggnog will be available the week leading up to Christmas.   • Christmas Day (Monday, Dec. 25, from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm): Mara’s full menu expands with surprise Christmas-Themed Dishes throughout the day.   • New Year’s Eve (Sunday, Dec. 31, with seatings from 5:00 to 9:30 pm): As tribute to the last dinner service of 2023, Mara offers a four-course, prix-fixe menu. Mara Bar stays open until 12:30 am with food served until 10:45 pm, a final champagne toast at 11:55 pm and last call at 12:15 am. USD 175 for adults.   • New Year’s Day (Monday, Jan. 1, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm and 5:00 to 9:30 pm): Kick off the New Year with a new prix-fixe menu for lunch and Mara favourites for dinner. À la carte pricing. Reservations available on Tock starting Nov. 1 at 12:00 noon.

HOLIDAY AT HOME WITH THANKSGIVING TO-GO KITS:
A Four Seasons tradition, Thanksgiving to-go kits allow Hotel residents and community members to enjoy the holiday at home with no cooking required. To-go kits include Butternut Squash Soup with maple and sage, Baby Kale Salad, Oven Roasted Turkey, Gravy and Cranberry Sauce, Roasted Yams with rosemary, brown butter and honey, Sourdough Stuffing with bacon and roasted apple, Mashed Yukon Gold Potatoes, Roasted Brussels Sprouts and two pies: Dutch Apple and Pecan. In accord with the Hotel’s commitment to approachability and inclusion, gluten-free, dairy-free and vegetarian menu items will be available. Orders placed by Friday, Nov. 17, will be ready for pick up on Thursday, Nov. 23, between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm. NEW TRADITIONS IN NORDIC VILLAGE:
A Minnesota cabin experience in the middle of the city, Nordic Village invites guests to enjoy private dining in parties up to four or eight. Gluten-free, dairy-free and vegetarian menu items will be available.

  • New Year’s Eve (Sunday, Dec. 31, with seatings at 5:00, 8:00 and 11:00 pm): Continuing with an ode to Nordic traditions, the last meal of the year in Nordic Village features Pickled Herring, Duck, Salmon, Clams, Beef Tenderloin, Caviar and Truffles. Then, toast to Northern Winters and 2024 with a favourite beverage and a dessert course of Minnesota-shaped S’mores and Petit Fours. CELEBRATE AT SOCCA CAFÉ
Open weekdays from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm*, Socca Café offers a bright space to lounge and linger alongside a market of house-made items ready for those who need to grab and go. Celebrate the season with festive menu items for Halloween, Apple, Pecan and Pumpkin Pies for Thanksgiving and Christmas and Bûche de Noël the week of Christmas. Those who visit Socca are also welcome to order Four Seasons Cakes-To-Go, available year-round. *Socca Café will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

PRIVATE DINING IN MARA

  • Mistral: Whether hosting a small corporate gathering or celebrating a special occasion, Mistral sets the stage for a memorable event. This private dining room provides privacy as needed with full-length drapes and sliding glass doors. The enchanted ambiance is enhanced by floor-to-ceiling windows and hand-blown glass lighting. Capacity: 12 people.
  • Marin: Inviting and approachable, Marin encourages guests to come as they are and stay awhile. This whimsical space is furnished with soft lighting, warm décor and unique China. The experience is sure to rouse happy memories from dinners past. Capacity: six people.
