Volunteerism & Social Responsibility: Build Employee Engagement and Meaningful Nonprofit Partnerships
Corporate volunteerism improves employee retention, productivity and loyalty. A recent study by PwC revealed, “Employees most committed to their organizations put in 57 percent more effort on the job—and are 87 percent less likely to resign—than employees who consider themselves disengaged.” In addition, corporate volunteers help build strong community relationships and pave the way for good corporate relations. In this session our panel will discuss the different types of volunteer programs that are working well, how best to engage employees in volunteer efforts, policies and software. We will also discuss best practices for a meaningful and authentic relationship with your nonprofit partners.
