Minneapolis Trial Update - Community Briefing

The trial of former police officer Derek Chauvin is underway in Minneapolis. Throughout the trial, the Minneapolis Regional Chamber will provide timely and relevant information to our members and the broader community. During this time, we will hold an online biweekly briefing with Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, and others.

The updates are scheduled to occur every other Friday at 8:30 am for approximately 30 minutes, beginning this Friday, March 12. We will adjust the schedule as needed.

We have heard from several businesses and employees with concerns about the impact of the trial. We are working to keep lines of communication open and to connect businesses, policymakers, community organizations, and law enforcement. Minneapolis and partner cities and entities have worked diligently to prepare for this trial. We welcome your input and feedback as we come together to keep our businesses and residents safe and working during this time.
