About Us

KATHY KNIPP is the Human Resources Manager for VitreoRetinal Surgery, PLLC. In this role, she oversees all internal Human Resource activities. Kathy is also the Owner, HR Advisor and Consultant at Knipp Consulting. In this role, Kathy helps small and medium size business understand their obligations to a growing workforce by offering consulting services that will allow those managers and owners move HR off their plates so they can focus their time and energy on their business.

Kathy received her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management from Metropolitan State University in 2000 and completed coursework towards a Master of Art degree in Human Resource Management from St. Mary’s University. She is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management and the Twin Cities SHRM organization and holds a PHR certification.

Kathy has over 25 years of overall Human Resource experience in the Secondary Education, Hospitality, Dental and Healthcare, and Professional Services industries. She has significant experience in Recruitment and Talent Management, Employee Relations, Employment Law, Training and Development, Compensation and Benefits, Conflict Resolution, Mergers and Acquisitions, HRIS and Technology, HR Consulting, and overall HR Strategy and Compliance.
